Faith Beyond Belief: Apologetics @ Home – The Identity Project
Date(s) - 17/08/2020 - 21/08/2020
11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Welcome to Apologetics @ Home
Over the past few months we have seen many prominent pastors and Christian leaders walk away from the faith and embrace the LGBT agenda. Most recently in Mississauga, Baptist pastor Justin Joplin told his congregation that he is transgender in his sermon “Embracing Your Truth”. The infiltration of ungodly ideas into our churches seems to have happened over night. But in fact, the faith “once for all delivered to the saints” has been progressively undermined right in front of us for years. Do you know where your pastor and church stand? Do you know what you would do if your pastor came out as transgender? If you are like most Christians, you are struggling to explain why you believe what you believe, not only to the secular people in your life, but even to your own family. Our children are inundated by “affirming” messages and we need to teach them TRUTH to prepare them to defend their faith, to themselves and to others. At FBB we created the Identity Project (IP) to speak to all these issues, and we are excited to announce that we will be running a condensed version in our Apologetics @ Home class next.
Join us in our interactive online classroom. We will be running the condensed version of the Identity Project in our next Apologetics @ Home sessions. The Identity Project is designed to be a safe space to talk about topics such as sexuality, gender and pornography. The curriculum is designed to appeal to all ages, from pre-teens to seniors. The theme of the individual’s identity in Christ is foundational to the Christian faith. You will be glad you took the time to watch.
Classes will run from Monday August 17 -21 at 11 AM MST daily.
Apologetics @ Home classes run for 1 hour with 30 min Q & A
M – What is Identity?
T – What is Gender?
W – Reasons for sexuality.
T – Pornography.
F – How to love our LGBT neighbours
