Learn to effectively preach on justice by exploring Old Testament concepts of justice and justice in the life and teachings of Jesus.

About this Event:
Preaching Justice workshop presented by Pastor Joyce Rees of Epic Vineyard Church in Calgary.

Workshop will be held at Foothills Alliance Church (Summit Room)

No longer just a buzz word, justice has become a deeply entrenched essential of spiritual formation, both within and outside the Church. Preaching a justice series is key for developing deep discipleship in our current culture and also helps anyone exploring Jesus understand what matters to God. This course will enable you to effectively preach justice! We will explore overarching Old Testament concepts of justice, as well as justice in the life and teachings of Jesus. Further, we will unpack the priorities of justice in the Early Church and connect practical applications of justice to our current culture.

Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Craft a justice preaching series
  • Understand essentials of both Old and New Testament justice theology
  • Effectively preach justice from a deep theological framework and enable listeners to apply biblical concepts of justice to their own discipleship

COST – $69 early registration (before Oct. 16);$79 regular (Includes snacks and lunch)
